County entries will be entered first. Out-of-county entries will be taken on standby basis.

General Information
All articles must be entered as directed in the general instructions for entries.
Premiums paid on products in surrounding area covered by the fair.
All entries must have been made since the close of last year’s fair by the person named as exhibitor. All articles must be clean and in good condition before being accepted. No article can be entered in more than one class.
Articles having no competition will not receive a premium unless worthy, as indicated by the judge.
All entries will be judged on:
    1. Workmanship
    2. Worth of article
    3. Appropriateness of material
    4. Appropriateness of design
Every care will be taken to protect the articles exhibited from all injury; however, the Fair will not in any way hold itself responsible for accidents, loss or damage by water, fire, theft, or otherwise whatever may be the cause of extent of the damage or loss sustained.

SPECIAL WOOL AWARD
To promote the use of woolen fabric in home sewing, the Women’s Auxiliary of the Somerset County Sheep and Wool Growers Association is offering special awards to outstanding garments made of wool. In both the, senior and junior divisions a $10.00 prize will be given to the best garment made of woolen fabric. This award will be made, by the judge after considering all of the woolen garments receiving blue ribbons.
